Grace Church
Music Ministries

Founded in 1886 as a vested choir of men and boys, the Grace Church Choir quickly rose to a high standard of musical excellence. The present Grace Church Choir consists of dedicated men and women with wide ranging choral experience. The choir’s repertoire spans the Renaissance to the Romantic eras and also includes music by contemporary composers who exemplify the breadth and diversity of the Anglican choral tradition.

Grace Church Choir

Grace Church Choir’s primary role is liturgical: providing music for the 11 a.m. Holy Eucharist and Feast Days as well as occasional Choral Evensongs.

The Grace Church Choir is looking for new members.  If you have a love of music and choral singing, please consider the opportunity for liturgical ministry.

Rehearsals are held on Thursday evenings. Membership requires a meeting and audition with the director and a commitment to regular participation.

A Note About GraceMusic

After the interruption of our 50th anniversary at the beginning of the pandemic and the cancellation of seasons in the interest of public health and safety, GraceMusic is back in full swing, and the Board is eager to re-engage with our audiences — Grace Church and the community at large —  with our 2024-25 season of lovely music.   This season we welcome our new artistic director, Jie Yi Segal, and two new Board members, and  will be presenting the Angelica Women’s Chamber Choir; the Hudson Valley String Quartet; a New Year’s Eve organ concert with Craig Williams (organist & choirmaster at the cadet chapel, West Point Military Academy); an all-Mozart concert by the Grace Church choir & friends; and our annual Messiah Sing.  Hoping to welcome you too!
